This expansion transforms the beloved classic into an even more epic battle of wits and trade, providing all the necessary components to welcome two additional players to the island of Catan.

With more players comes more competition for vital resources. This extension includes new terrain hexes (forests, pastures, hills, mountains, and fields), additional settlement, city, and road pieces in green and brown, and more development cards. The island gets larger, the trading gets more intense, and the race for the longest road becomes even more thrilling.

Key Rule Change: Special Building Phase To keep the game moving swiftly with a larger group, this extension introduces the "Special Building Phase." You no longer have to wait for your turn to spend your resources! At the end of every player's turn, everyone else can build roads, settlements, and cities or buy development cards. This keeps everyone engaged and prevents the frustration of losing half your resources to a robber before your turn even starts.
