Lord Edgware Dies

Famed Belgian detective Hercule Poirot is approached by American actress Jane Wilkinson, who seeks his assistance in obtaining a divorce from her estranged husband, Lord Edgware. Poirot agrees to help, only to discover that Lord Edgware has already consented to the divorce and claims to have informed Jane via letter—a letter she insists she never received

The situation takes a sinister turn when Lord Edgware is found murdered in his study. Jane becomes the prime suspect, especially since she was reportedly seen entering his home shortly before the murder. However, she has a solid alibi: she was attending a dinner party at the time.

As Poirot delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a web of deception, impersonation, and hidden motives. With multiple suspects and conflicting testimonies, Poirot must use his "little grey cells" to unravel the truth behind Lord Edgware's death.
