Booklya is a bookstore-café at C/ del Túria, 30, Valencia. On the shelves — books in Ukrainian, English and Spanish. At the counter — espresso, flat white and something sweet. It's the kind of place where you come for one book, stay for a coffee and leave with two.
A bookstore in three languages
We opened in August 2025 as the first Ukrainian bookstore in Valencia, and the shelves quickly became trilingual — because our readers are. Ukrainian families come for children's books and the authors they miss from home. Expats and students look for English novels. Valencians drop in for Spanish titles and for a gift that's a little different.
- Ukrainian: contemporary Ukrainian literature, classics and the biggest selection of Ukrainian children's books we know of in Spain.
- English: fiction, fantasy, non-fiction and children's books in English.
- Spanish: libros en español for adults and children.

The café
In August 2026 the bookstore got its own café. We make espresso drinks on a professional machine — espresso, cappuccino, flat white, iced latte in summer — plus cold drinks and pastries. Take a book from the shelf, order a coffee and read for as long as you like.
If you use the Booklya app, you can order your coffee ahead and pick it up with a code at the counter, follow the order status live, and even send a coffee as a gift to a friend by phone number — they redeem it here in Valencia.
A place for the community
Booklya is also a meeting point. Our bookstore hosts readings, book presentations and art exhibitions — the very first day began with an exhibition and a literary reading (read about the opening). The Ukrainian book club "Read and Discuss VLC" meets with us, and families come for children's events. Follow @booklyabookstore on Instagram for the next dates.

Ask at the counter or write to us. If a Ukrainian title isn't on our shelves, we'll try to bring it with our next delivery from Ukraine.
