The Hatmakers

Eleven-year-old Cordelia is the youngest member of the Hatmaker family, renowned for crafting magical hats infused with enchantments. Born during her parents' voyage to procure mystical ingredients, Cordelia has grown up surrounded by vibrant fabrics, ribbons, feathers, lace, and buttons, eagerly anticipating the day she can create her first hat.

When her father's ship, the "Jolly Bonnet," goes missing at sea, Cordelia resolves to find him. However, her Aunt Ariadne and Uncle Tiberius are preoccupied with fulfilling an urgent order for the king, striving to outshine rival Maker families—the Bootmakers, Watchmakers, Cloakmakers, and Glovemakers.

Armed with wit, courage, and a touch of magic at her fingertips, Cordelia embarks on a perilous adventure to rescue her father and uphold her family's legacy.
