The House at the End of the World

No one on Earth has a place to hide from known and unknown fears...

Katie, a 36-year-old woman, lives alone on a small island called Jacob’s Ladder, in a stone house that resembles a fortress—far from civilization. Once a star in the art world, now she hides from a terrible loss, finding solace in solitude and painting. She avoids the mainland, has no internet or TV—just a few classical music discs.

Her reclusive peace is disturbed by agents from a secret government research center on nearby Ringrock Island. They won’t say what—or who—they are looking for. Despite their intimidating presence, Katie realizes a much greater threat looms. Soon, she will find herself at the center of a terrifying battle with a mysterious enemy.
