Dragons are picky eaters with diverse diets: you’ll need to feed them meat, gold, crystals, or milk—and some might even require the eggs of other dragons! Who knows, perhaps you’ll manage to tame a legendary Ukrainian Ironbelly or truly feel like the parent of a vast dragon family. 

Wyrmspan is a fantasy engine-building and drafting game for 1–5 players with minimal downtime. Over 60–90 minutes, you will collect unique winged dragons on your player mat, earning points for eggs, cached resources, objective tiles, and guild favors to claim the title of the world’s greatest dragonologist. To invite these massive creatures into your sanctuary, you must first excavate a unique labyrinth of caves tailored to different species.

Game Start & Mechanics: Every player begins with a personal player mat, 4 cards (a mix of dragons and caves), tokens of their color, 1 dragon egg, 6 dragon coins, and 3 food resources of their choice. You start with three excavated but unexplored caves: the Crimson Cavern, the Golden Grotto, and the Amethyst Abyss. To expand your sanctuary and house more dragons, you must use your actions to dig deeper into the rock and explore the hidden depths of your caves.
