A modern retreat has opened on an island off the Devon coast—a true idyll, a place to forget worries and rejuvenate. However, the island is also home to the infamous Death Rock, once the site of a serial killer's crimes. Rumors suggest the place is cursed.

Under the yoga pavilion, a woman's body is found—it appears to be an accident, a fatal fall. But detective Elin Warner soon discovers that this woman wasn't supposed to be there at all.

The longer Elin stays on the island, the more secrets emerge. And when another victim is found underwater, she begins to suspect that all the rumors about the island are true.

It seems history is repeating itself, and the island is claiming its bloody toll once more...
