Promise of Sisters continues the emotionally haunting legacy of Heather Morris’s The Tattooist of Auschwitz series. Based on true events, it follows three Slovakian sisters—Cibi, Magda, and Livia—who vow to stay together amid the horrors of WWII. As they endure the unspeakable conditions in Auschwitz, they cling to that promise, even during the harrowing death march. Against all odds, they escape, hide in the forest, and embark on a journey to a new life in Israel. However, the past lingers, and only by facing their hidden traumas and secrets can they find peace and true sisterhood.
