A thick fog covered the Viking ship, and no one noticed when poor Sigurd fell overboard. He barely made it to shore — and when the fog lifted, he found himself in a strange town.
Due to a time slip, ancient Viking Sigurd ends up in modern-day England, in a town called Flotby, where he stumbles into a hotel with a very familiar name: "The Viking." But the hotel owners — and its guests — are definitely not ready to meet a real, wild Viking.
Now, Sigurd must learn to become a modern man: use a knife and fork, speak the language, and even… get married?
A hilarious and imaginative children’s book about time travel, cultural shock, and adapting to the modern world.
